For some of you who are reading this section, you might not know what a selection criteria is. If you are applying for jobs in the public sector, it is a separate document (e.g. 2-5 pages) that provides evidence of how you meet the selection criteria for a job. It can take hours to write.

I love this website, it will help you to prepare your responses and your resume for job applications in the public sector. It is an incredible resource which can also help you with job interviews as well.

10. Professional Associations
This website provides you with information about various professional associations. As a professional, it is beneficial to be part of at least one association. I am part of 2 associations and I have networked with many like-minded people who have recommended me for many business opportunities.

I have been looking for a video to best illustrate the STAR method when responding to behavioural questions. This video is the best video that I have found so far. Enjoy.

You are simply learning about people and their careers and building strong relationships with people in your industry. Now for those of you who are considering a career change, this is a “must watch” video.
I love the concepts that are used here in Designing Your Life. It is a wonderful way of using design thinking models to explore your career options and career direction.
16. Testing: Some of these free tools are great to help you see various personality types, learn about your personal values and strengths. I encourage you to use this as a guide. Large organisations usually use various psychometric testing, hence, it is beneficial for you to be familiar with some testing tools.
